ash wednesday

filming finito
until further exterior shots
and a sauna scene
to be shot this spring
in texas

wish me luck

i may be a lone star
but the lonestar state
sure as shit
ain't my kinda home

just saw now
that rosie had a
"blog block"
yesterday too
and wow, i thought
kindred spirits
she and i

my block however
is still in effect until further notice
plus, i'm nowhere near
her 400 sum odd comments a post
but
every day
i'll be here
for better or worse
every
every
every
day

a p.s. to ashley
huge thank you for a thrilling night
at the theatre
"barefoot in the park"
may not have aged so well
but an evening out with you
will never get old

and p.p.s.
big up
to anyone out there in the cozmos
who reads this mess
even those of you who pretend you don't
or those of you who cynically sneak on
hell, thanks even to those of you who browse
only when no one else is looking
i might not know
when or why you come here
but i thank you so much anyway
just for visiting
if reading any of this
means even a fraction as much to you
as it does to me
writing it
then i have no reason not to be
a happy, happy man

oh! and finally
p.p.p.s.
i promise FULL SENTENCES SOMETIME SOON
possibly even in the near future
well...
maybe
i don't know
don't hold your breath

alright, goodnight

as someone who knows much about this, i'd like to give you some advice that was given to me. and i think that upon rereading, you'll again find your foucs, drive and material. peace my little clark bar! :-p

Holla at'cha boy!
So I'm under the impression that you want feedback, a comment, not necessarily advice, but perhaps an outside opinion on what it is that you're doing here.
I'd love to sit down and talk about it, but thought I'd get the ball rolling for others to comment as well.
As someone who made the conscious decision from very early on in his blogging life (only a few months back) to write one post every single day, I would start with this:
1. Be Truthful, at all costs. If you don't feel comfortable writing about something, then don't write about it. But if you choose to go there, then pour out what is inside of you- always remembering that things like editing, proof-reading and an awareness that this is also intended for others are factors.
2. Treat the blog as professional writing. So often people (and you've begun to do this a lot) will begin a blog with "sorry I haven't been writing..." or "i don't know what to write about today so here goes..." or "this is getting to be really hard for me..." Bottom line, if the desire and the need to write aren't inside of you, then don't write. Or write in a journal where only you need look at it and it is more or less a learning tool. The very nature of these blogs (not that the two of us have readership of thousands, by any means) is to be a forum for personal expression in a relatively public area.
3. Sometimes shit just pours out of us and this can often be the most provocative, the most inspiring, the most raw moments in our writing. But I think it would be helpful for many bloggers to look at what they're composing from a more classic standpoint. Does this creation that's just come out of me have a Beginning, a Middle and an End? That can really help shape what you are trying to express clearly and profoundly.
unless clarity isn't the objective, in which case disregard everything I've just written...

glad to help! and i take things that people say to heart, especially criticism (not as digs, but as a critique).

as for the blogosphere...all in due time. this sphere is in motion motion and comes to fruition when ready. it may not rotate as fast as the professional bloggers or as the real sphere, but since it's mine, it swirls when i say. stay tuned ;)
