paralyzing is what they have become

obsessions
empty, mindless, guilty, guilty pleasures
with no nutritional value
only tummy-aches and head-hurts
at the end of my gorging on their gooey, fluffy centers
and for god sakes
attempting to write here daily
strips away enough of my time on its own
